Teachers are expected to maintain open and respectful communication and actively engage in lesson planning, student assessments, and classroom management. While many of our teachers come from North America, we welcome those eager to contribute to a positive, inclusive learning community. 

 

All of the teaching staff are trained all year round by the Director of Maple Bear Asia, who provides professional training and support for teachers.  At the campus level, the Academic Director/Head Teacher is in charge of overseeing the teaching staff.

Basic Requirements

 

• Demonstrate creativity, adaptability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student success, with a collaborative and inclusive approach to teaching.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university 
• Be eligible for an E-2 visa (citizen of the U.S.A., Canada, U.K., Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa)
• Apostilled diploma and criminal background check
• Clean health assessment
