Our Curriculum and Programs

Our campus is built on reading, supported by a rich library and exclusive textbooks developed in partnership with McGraw-Hill, along with the Accelerated Reader (AR) program. We are dedicated to providing advanced English courses for elementary-aged students (grades 1-4). 

• MAG1 to MAG4: Customized English programs for students with high potential, emphasizing essay writing, speech, debate, and advanced vocabulary.
• Vocabulary Development: Magnet’s exclusive North American vocabulary textbook selection helps students strengthen their literacy skills and grow their vocabulary.
• Reading Habits: Students are encouraged to develop a love for reading through post-reading activities and a reading certification system.
• Smart Learning System: Magnet integrates technology to enhance learning and track student progress, ensuring personalized attention.

Our Facilities 

Our facilities are designed to inspire learning. Our libraries foster a strong reading culture, with our students reading an average of 389 books per year—five times more than their peers. Poly's classrooms are well-equipped with smart TVs and interactive learning tools, creating a dynamic and engaging educational environment.

At Poly Magnet, we foster a high-performance academic environment and seek exceptional teachers, primarily from the U.S. and Canada. We also welcome educators from other countries with extensive experience or a strong understanding of the North American curriculum.  Our teachers thrive in intellectually stimulating settings and are passionate about inspiring students to reach their full potential. Teachers begin with one day of curriculum training, followed by two days of observation at the campus to meet staff and apply what they've learned. After arriving at the campus, teachers go through an orientation to understand their responsibilities and receive feedback from experienced teachers. We hold biannual workshops and training sessions to empower teachers to enhance their teaching methods and abilities.

Hiring Period & Procedure

• We have a continuous need for talented teachers, with positions available year-round. The application process typically takes 2-3 weeks, though this may vary depending on the position.  Before applying, please review the visa application process and estimated processing times in Korea.

• Application Assessment: Review of qualifications and values,  and document screening by the Poly team

• Interview Process: Evaluation of skills, values, and potential, typically through a panel interview (1:N).

• Final Selection and Contract: Successful candidates will be notified and provided with a contract and onboarding details upon confirmation.
