Our philosophy, "To teach is to touch a life," is at the heart of our approach, inspiring us as global leaders in education. As Korea’s largest emotional play-based education institution for children aged 3 to 7, we empower students to dream big and embrace endless possibilities.

 

WizIsland is a subsidiary of Kyowon Group, an educational life culture company established in 1985.  Its English education subsidiaries include WYATT Institute [link], a reading-focused English curriculum for students aged 6 to grade 6, and Francis Parker Collegiate [link], a high-level American curriculum based on Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for students aged 5 to grade 3.

Our Curriculum and Programs

 

Our curriculum combines play-based learning with real-life English practice through Scholastic World of English™ and the WIZ MI Project. Through special projects, outdoor activities, field trips, parties, and concerts, students develop language skills while exploring their emotions and growing as creative global leaders.

 

 

First Class (3 Y)

Develop emotional intelligence and a strong bond with teachers while building self-esteem, cognitive skills, and emotional awareness through active exploration.

 

Royal Class (4-5 Y)

Nurture talents, inspire curiosity, and foster holistic growth through play-based learning that encourages imagination and discovery.

 

W-Class (6-7 Y)

3. Basic Requirements

 

• Bring excitement to English education with an engaging and creative teaching approach for kindergarten and young learners

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
• Must be eligible for an E-2 visa (citizenship from the USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa) or hold an F-visa (resident)
• Apostilled diploma and criminal background check
• Clean health assessment
• Teaching experience with children preferred
• Teaching license/certification preferred

 

4. Hiring Period & Procedure

 

• We are always on the lookout for passionate teachers, with positions available year-round across our nine campuses.

• Application Screening: We assess applications to check whether candidates meet our required qualifications.

• Interview Stage: Shortlisted applicants will take part in an interview to assess their teaching style and alignment with our school's values.

• Job Offer & Confirmation: Candidates who successfully pass the interview will receive an offer and receive training. 

 

 

5. Teacher Training & Workshops

 

• Our teacher training program covers professional mindset development, foundational training for new teachers, and in-depth instruction on our emotional and multiple intelligence-based curriculum. Teachers also receive guidance on child development, classroom management, safety, and parent communication to create a positive and effective learning environment.

  Our quarterly Wiz TQC (Teacher’s Qualification Course) is led by experienced professionals, and our tiered certification system ensures teachers are well-prepared to deliver WizIsland’s specialized early childhood education programs.

   

   

6. Salary & Benefits

 

• Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive salary package that reflects our teachers’ experience and qualifications.

  Housing Support: Teachers receive either our provided housing or a housing stipend,

  Full Social Insurance Coverage: We provide Korea’s four major social insurances in addition to severance pay after completing a minimum 1-year contract.
