Online Part-Time Elementary Teacher Wanted (F-Visa / work from home)

What is iBloom English? iBloom English is a premium online English academy for elementary and middle school students. We are seeking a part-time native English teacher for our program. Applicants should be energetic, well-prepared, and have a genuine interest in their students as well as their academic growth. This is an online “work from home” position and open only to residents of Korea with an F-visa (no sponsorships). Due to the nature of online classes, all lessons are visible, so the teacher's abilities are crucial. Therefore, multiple years of teaching experience is mandatory. This position has the future possibility of becoming full-time depending on performance. All documents such as an apostilled diploma and apostilled criminal background check should be ready to submit. Description of Work: Prepare for and conduct two or three online 90-minute classes focused on novels Review students’ homework and give writing corrections (weekly) Consistently communicate regarding students' behavior, academic progress, homework issues, and attendance Curriculum and teaching materials will be provided, though creativity is welcome Classes will be taught on Zoom No parent contact necessary Working Hours: Starting date: Flexible Class times: Varies (weekdays only--afternoon/early evening) Class size: 4-8 students Teacher training will be provided and compensated for Salary: 60,000 won per hour (1 class = 90 minutes: 90,000 won) Start with 2-3 classes per week (can possibly increase) Teacher preparation and corrections will be done outside of teaching times Housing: Unavailable Location: Work From Home *Please include 1-2 references with up-to-date contact information.
